Originally introduced in 1967, the Camaro Z/28 has been a icon of performance. Chevrolet has announced they are bringing back the Z/28 in the Spring of 2014. The 2014 Camaro Z/28 is powered by a LS7 7.0L small block V8. It will deliver at least 500 horsepower and 470 pound-feet torque.

The Gen5 2014 Chevy Camaro Z/28 has a differential cooler, transmission cooler, brake coolers, carbon-ceramic brakes. The Z/28 is considerably lighter. It has optional air conditioning, thinner rear window glass, removal of trunk carpet and insulation, and all speakers removed except for 1 to hear the seat belt chime.

You still get a large trunk with 18.8 cubic feet of storage.

Engine Sizes

There are 2 engine sizes available: The ECOTEC 2.5L and 3.6L V6 engine with 305HP. The 2014 Impala comes equipped with a 6 speed transmission. The EPA estimated fuel economy is 31 MPG highway and 21 MPG city. The fuel tank capacity is 18.5 gallons.

Technology

Available MyLink system with 8″ color touchscreen and a color screen for the driver in the driver information center. The MyLink system allows for smartphone integration and smartphone apps like Pandora. The Impala also has available USB ports, SIRUSXM and HD radio, bluetooth, Onstar, navigation, rear view camera, remote start, SD card receptacle, and Bose surround sound.

Peterson Auto Group has opened its fifth Treasure Valley dealership. This morning’s ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00am was conducted by General Manager, Rod West.

Peterson Chevrolet, Buick and Cadillac is located on the corner of Fairview and Cloverdale at 12300 W Fairview Ave, Boise, ID 83704. The dealership sits on a 10-acre lot and has 70 employees. It is down the street from the old Peterson Chevrolet, Buick and Cadillac location on Fairview.

The dealership boosted its usual Chevrolet inventory by 150 vehicles for the grand opening and promised to beat other dealerships’ price for any new Chevy by $500.
